L-Shaped anchor bolts are embedded in concrete and used to support structural steel columns, light poles, highway signs, heavy equipment, and many other applications. The hook portion of the anchor bolt serves to create resistance so that the bolt does not pull out of the concrete foundation when force is applied.
The basic specification covering foundation anchor bolts is ASTM F1554 which covers anchor bolts designed to anchor structural supports to concrete foundations. These anchor bolts can be headed bolts, straight rods, or bent anchor bolts. The three grades 36, 55, and 105 designate the minimum yield strength of the anchor bolt.
The L-type anchor bolt generally is used for infrastructure such as railway, road, electric power enterprise, factory, mine, bridge, tower crane, large-span steel structure and large-scale building, and has strong stability.
